Iran unveils a Gulf security plan - Asia Times - 04/13/2007 14:04

Iran has proposed a 10-point plan for ensuring collective security in the Persian Gulf region. It is unlikely that the Arab states will accept the proposal as it could alienate their main protector, the US, and because they are nervous about being too close to Iran.
